If a book or journal is not available in a De Montfort library it may be possible to get a copy through the Inter Library Loans service.
If an item is not available from our own library stock, we may be able to obtain it for you from another library.
Complete a form with the details of the item you need and we will try to track it down for you.
Articles obtained for a commercial purpose are subject to a copyright fee.

The British Library's Secure Electronic Delivery (SED) service provides articles electronically direct to you via the University's email system.
There is no charge for DMU staff or students who submit Inter Library Loans for academic purposes. Charges are applied when an Inter Library Loan is overdue or if the request is for commercial purposes, because costs are imposed by external organisations and passed on to the requester.
For queries on inter-library loans, please go to the issue desk or an information desk in the appropriate campus library.
If you request journal articles via the Library Services’ Inter Library Loan Service, the chances are that you will receive your article as a link in an email, 90% of the articles that we obtain for our staff and students are sent out in this way.
