The library is currently engaged on a number of research projects.
The De Montfort University Open Research Archive (DORA) is an online, open access record of research outputs by De Montfort University researchers. Whenever possible the record contains a full text version of the research output.
This project aims to prove a statistically significant correlation between library usage and student attainment.
Embedding eXisting & Propriatary Learning in an Open-source Repository to Evolve new Resources (EXPLORER)
This project will continue the work being carried out to enhance DORA and to embed it further within the DMU research environment.
De Montfort University Library is developing a digital archive of articles published in electronic journals.
The TIGER project will innovate by collecting, developing and sharing reusable, customisable Open Educational Resources (OERs) designed for Interprofessional Education (IPE) in Health and Social Care between the Universities of Northampton, Leicester and De Montfort, academics, their existing communities of practice, employers and the wider community in line with expressed sector requirements.
